Ok like I just got on the varsity team, and I am a forward and I always have been and my coach put me on defense, I am the fastest guy on the team and I know all of that stuff about being well rounded but like I hate it!!! I got called a pussy bc I dodged a shot that was comming to my face, and they want me to step in front of shots all the time and I just don’t like it, I give away free kicks from handballs, I just miss playing midfield and forward, like right now my leg is all busted up bc of me giving “110″ percent as a defender, this crap is nerve wrecking, I don’t have fun playing anymore, its an obligation now, an obligation I don’t want, and I don’t want to quit bc I love soccer!!! Please help

I’m just looking for opinions on here. If you’re going to answer this questions bashing him all over again, don’t bother at all.I think Ronaldo is best suited as one of the wide attacking players in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1. system. He is not good enough in the box to be a pure striker, and his drop deep, link up play is not good enough to be an SS in a 2 striker formation. Coming in from the flank, he can help drag CBs out of position while contributing shots from outside the box.I am still of the opinion that MP should have tried a CR-Kaka-Benz trident behind Pipita, 2 DM (alonso + other) and a more conservative defence (with less overlapping by the FBs). Higuain looked awfully isolated on Saturday as he did vs. Lyon, Ronaldo’s ball possession is mostly on the wings, and it becomes obvious who to mark when Ronaldo has the ball at his feet. Ronaldo never should be played up front. £80m for a damn striker? No way! He should be playing on the wings and Higuain needs a damn partner. We had no right midfield against Barcelona and we just ended up getting crowded in the middle. When that happens, the players do not have the confidence to stay on the ball and it does not suit our direct style. I’ve wondered why so many people assume that because he has managed to score so many goals that automatically makes him a viable option for a striker. He doesn’t have the sense of space and positional awareness, and movement in the box to be a striker. Though versatility in terms of ways to score allows him the ability to function as a support striker at times.
