Well this is my last week in collage and im team capain of my varsity soccer team.My coach told me to pick the next team captain since its the last time i would be in this school so help please…
This are my 3 choices.
Brad Attacker
great attacker he can pass really well and knows what to do in every game he can score goals very easily when we go against other teams and can be very aggressive when it comes to winning
Chris Goaly
He’s a really great goaly when someone tries to goal through him he will dive jump and even steal the ball away from the apponent if he tries to score a goal.Once he got kicked on the throat but still cept on playing. He does not let the ball pass him no matter what happens to him.And he’s a great diffender too.
John Attacker
He knows how to do free kicks, goal kicks, long passes, short passes and long shots too He can steal the ball easily from the apponent and does not stop until he has the ball..He shows great leaderaship but so does the 2guys
So help me pick 1 please

I’d pick John. The more involved in the battle the captain is, the better it is, and John seems to be the one that sees the most action of the three. It’s good when the captain takes free kicks too.
I am not fond of goalies being captains (even if I am a goalie myself), they’re too far away from the action when the going gets tough (pushing, shoving, words, etc…).
so uneasy!!
well, who does your heart tell you to pass it to?
as to me, I’d say give it to John, because he seems to be a playmaker in the team, right?
yeah, to me, everything points at him
Pick the player who the other players will listen to. A captain is the one who makes the decisions on the pitch so go with your head not your heart.
One other thing, you must have been substituted sometime during your captains role, so who did you pass on the captains role to?
pick the guy who can bring the team together, the guy who can keep his cool during the tough times, pick the guy that everyone likes, admires and respects. pick the guy who is willing to defend his teammates but not the one who will get sent to the showers early for foolish arguments. and lastly pick the guy who can take charge and is willing to carry the team all the way each and every single time.
so far these sound like great individual players, but none with characteristics to be a good captain.
I would pick someone who has the most influence over the players. Somebody who will fight even when facing a loss.
John.
the first one Brad,
he seems to have a head for footy, (sorry Soccer) and i think he would be a good team captain.
A captain has to be a player who all the team listen, and a good player too.. However, he has to be one of the best players of the team, and he has to be energetic, always talking on the field…. you only said some playing qualities of the players…. why dont you look for a sweeper or a midfielder to be your cap? they are usually the ones that talk to all the team when they are on a game!
