if i get a free kick( when someone fouls me)…..then how close can the defender stand infront of the ball???
i am asking this because the defenders stand right in my face ….and when i kick the ball …it goes nowhere but straight to their feet

it always was 10 yrds that is 30 feet,,1 foot is equal to twelve inches,,
but now its metric i have to say its how long the referees legs are its 10 paces,,depending on the ref s legs ..sometimes i seems to be 8ft others 25feet

i’m pretty sure it’s 10 yards. if they stand right in front of you, the ref should have to make them move back. if the ref doesn’t automatically do this, you have to tell him that they’re not 10 yards away. he’ll most likely make them move.
