Lets face the facts Houston Dynamos are the besr right now….
First off houston won the mls cup in their first season….that IS something.
And there is not a match anybody can say that the dynamos have not shown great skill and potential I mean the way they move and play is amazing. Even mexico got scared when we played in the semi finals agaisnt pachuca. pachuca had to buy the ref and give pacc. 3 penalties in order to win plus a free ticket stadium so all mexicans could pressure dynamos. let me tell you something I AM a mexican and I know my people and they were scared everytime dynamos had the ball. I don’t care if cuathemoc blanco comes to chicago fire and i don’t care if old beckham comes dynamos wiil give it their all and walk out champs again, because for so many years have I seen MLS and no team has gotten my attention like the dyamos… so what do you guys think?
Think dynamos can improve the word football in the U.S and give U.S fame around the world finnaly?

Wow u are what i call a true fan. I congratulate you but sorry I think Dynamo will do great this year but the Arsenal owned Colorado Rapids will win the MLS this yr and as for the MLS as the league. I think it will take a few yrs more to make it into real football. And i am Mexican American too
1) Dynamo were in their first season as Houston Dynamo. The team used to be San Jose Earthquakes. The players would have won the championship no matter what name they played under.
2) Colorado is the only good team that they won against so far this season. Chivas USA isn’t exactly Manchester United and even Toronto FC – an expansion team – beat Dynamo.
3) If you think you can tell what goes on behind the scenes, then you are living in a fantasy.
4) At 2-3-1, Dynamo are hardly tearing up the league.

I have to agree with Awesome, a fellow DC United fan, on this one. Just wait till DC irons out it’s defense and we’ll be nearly unstoppable. We have the depth in our roster. We just need to work on our defense.

you are right, I agree that the Dynamos are a big threat right now. Though I did not see that game against Pachuca, I have seen some of their regular season. I think they do however need some time to develop. Before they can have a huge effect on world soccer, MLS in general needs to improve it’s quality in playing, (let’s face it, they’re not the English Premier.)Overall, though Houston produces.
No doubt, Houston is the class of the league right now and I am really looking forward to seeing them in August when the come to Denver. But all teams are getting better this year – especially in terms of quality of play. I think NY, DC, LA, NE can give Dynamo the run for their money.
